“It is always a pleasure taking any class that Ashreale teaches. She has an energy that is vibrant and moves through others. What I love most about her is her level of patience. She will work and break movements down to ensure that everyone knows the technicality of it before moving on. She is such an inspiration to all that knows her. Taking a class from Ashreale you not only learn to dance, but you leave feeling good about yourself.”

~Kevin L.

“Ashreale’s classes were my favorite in all of St. Louis. Beyond being an exceptional dancer and choreographer, Ashreale as a teacher is inspiring. Throughout her class she is always looking for ways to keep you engaged, in great form and believing in yourself. I know after leaving class that I was cared for, conditioned and pushed to challenge myself!”

~Nadani D.

“I first took Ashreale’s class after a long hiatus from dance. The class awoke parts of my soul I didn’t realize were sleeping. She has a truly remarkable gift for fostering a supportive and inviting communal space for people to learn, create, and grow together. Ashreale is able to teach to multiple levels at once. She encourages new learners and appropriately challenges the more experienced movers, all while commending efforts across the board. Learning and collaborating with her is caring for your body, mind, and soul.”

"The classes I have taken with Ashreale have been so vibrant and joyful. She makes the content easily accessible to dancers of all levels, and finds the perfect balance between insightful dance training and creative fun. I always leave the room with lifted spirits."

“I have had the honor of getting to take Ashreale’s weekly training classes. To say she has a gift is quite the understatement. Ashreale’s professional level and knowledge is captivating but her ability to be warm & intentional with her clients is what makes them never want to leave. Her Afro-jazz class was always the highlight of my week. The vibes were so welcoming, & she got you SWEATING each time. She was able to cultivate a space that celebrated the African dance community but also invited people of other races and colors to participate and feel a part of a dance family. She breaks down specific movements and values questions from her dancers. She allows opportunity for her to give feedback to each individual student at some point in each class. I specifically enjoyed her choreographed technical warm ups at the start of every class before jumping into stretching. This allowed me to focus on the technique of each style she was teaching. Her classes always have a variety of both first time to dance dancers, and professionally trained dancers and she was able to hold their attention and focus the same. Ashreale’s movement style is one that genuinely  feels good on your body. She is able to connect her spirit with the choreography and people resonated with it. Her contemporary classes were very freeing for me as a dancer and kept me coming back week by week. I also have had the opportunity to be a part of one of Ashreale’s choreographed piece/ for our company show. I appreciated her ability to be prepared with choreography and also respectful of dancers time and energy. She is able to clean dances with intentionality and push dancers cardio ability. She makes people feel strong when they move. The way Ashreale teaches dance classes have forever changed the way I teach mine. Her professionally is captivating & when she is in a room, you can’t help but be drawn to her. She has a wealth of knowledge for many styles, and is someone you either want to take class from or with! I cannot say enough about how talented of a dancer, artist, and human she is.”

“I have had the opportunity to take multiple styles of dance classes from Ashreale as well as have the honor to be in a few of her choreographed pieces.  She is able to share such a love for the art of dance and it shines in her teaching and choreography.  Each class, though unique, will always have her flare with quick changes and emotional moments.  From the fun and fast paced Afro-Jazz Modern classes that are sure to get your heart rate up, to her modern style gently influenced by Horton Technique.  Her passion shines through from start to finish.  I will always recommend anyone to take a class and learn from her, it doesn't matter if you are just starting out or are a professional.  Ashreale will give you her heart!”

“Not only is Ashreale such a well rounded dancer, but she is also such a great teacher in all aspects. Walking into a class with her being the teacher; the environment is so welcoming and inviting and she greets everyone with a smile. I love that she offers an inclusive environment filled with people from all different walks of life. She always makes sure everyone is included and is accommodating to each individual dancer that attends class, she never makes you feel ashamed to ask questions and doesn’t hesitate to answer them thoroughly. There is never a dull moment in class and it's always such a fun time.”
